Meet Nikivious Woods

Nikivious Woods is a driven and ambitious freshman at Jackson State University, where he is pursuing a major in Finance. Hailing from Georgia, Nikivious exemplifies leadership, discipline, and academic focus—qualities that have shaped his journey both on and off the golf course.

As a proud member of the Jackson State Golf Team, Nikivious is not only competing at the collegiate level but also using his platform to inspire other young Black athletes to explore the sport of golf—a game where representation continues to grow. His strategic mindset and competitive spirit align perfectly with his finance studies, where he aspires to eventually pursue a career in investment banking or wealth management.

Nikivious is also a graduate of the Andrew Young Leadership Institute, a prestigious program that equips emerging leaders with the tools to effect change through civic engagement, diplomacy, and social innovation. His participation in the institute reflects his deep commitment to public service, financial literacy, and economic empowerment in underserved communities.
