The National Institute for HBCU Success is the research arm of the Our HBCUs Matter Foundation, Inc., and it  is dedicated to advancing the success and sustainability of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) across the nation. Founded on the principles of equity, excellence, and empowerment, we strive to empower HBCUs and their students by providing comprehensive support, resources, and advocacy initiatives that foster academic excellence, student success, and community engagement.

Our mission is to serve as a catalyst for transformative change within the HBCU community by equipping institutions, administrators, faculty, and students with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to thrive academically, socially, and economically. We are committed to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion within HBCUs and ensuring that all students have access to high-quality education, opportunities for personal and professional growth, and pathways to success.

Our vision is to create a future where HBCUs are recognized as vibrant centers of academic excellence, innovation, and leadership that empower students to achieve their full potential and make meaningful contributions to society. We envision a world where HBCUs serve as beacons of hope, inspiration, and opportunity for generations to come, shaping a brighter future for individuals, communities, and the nation as a whole.
