REQUIREMENTS

Current Undergraduate & Graduate Students.
The My Education Matters is a Student Account Balance Payoff Scholarship that is given to the school. If you have been selected your school will reach out to you to notify you of the scholarship. We are asking the institutions to identify students who meet the following requirements.

 

Have a balance on their student account

All Financial Aid & Scholarships have been applied to your student account.

Have an active account on the Our HBCUs Foundation Portal

Submitted your community service project.

Proof of financial need based upon family financial commitment.. 

Your school is accredited.

Your school has not already been granted an award for students from My HBCU Matters.

REQUIREMENTS

Current Faculty/Staff at High Schools and HBCUs. 
  • The award is open to all faculty and staff members, including full time, part time, adjunct.

Initiative Proposal

 

Proposal Should Include:

  • Based Around Initiatives and Programming that stems from  Economics, Branding, Community, Social Awareness, Education, Alumni Engagement.
  • Institution/Institutions of implementation.
  • Mission, Purpose, Initiative Explanation,Timeline (Start to Implementation to Reporting back to the Our HBCUs Matter Foundation).
