The My HBCU Matter Scholars Cohort is a multi-industry focused immersive educational experience for HBCU Undergraduate & Graduate level students which provides educational and professional development, industry training, and networking; supported by our partners. Students & Partners will have year around engagement via virtual learning sessions and in-person activations at the multiple events.
HBCU SCHOLAR SELECTION CRITERIA & REQUIREMENTS
The selection criteria for the HBCU Scholars were created via our Scholar Rubric.
-2.5. GPA
-Must be a Undergraduate or Graduate Student at a HBCU
-Actively looking for an internship/ full-time employment (seniors and graduate students)
-Complete the HBCU Scholar Application
-Complete the HBCU Scholar Info Sessions
-Complete the Professional Development Intensive Sessions
-Mentor High School Scholars
-Complete Case Studies and Community Based Projects
-Scholars are required to meet 2x a week (If you have a conflict you must submit the absence request form.
-Required to attend in person events.
-Scholars must sign Scholar Program Agreement
-Maintain an upstanding image on social media and in-person.
